Men ages 17 & older (includes all high school seniors) are invited to join us for our fouth annual Men's Retreat on August 23th – 24th in the beautiful outdoor setting of the YMCA Trout Lodge in Potosi, Missouri.  During this popular weekend just for men, you will be challenged physically and spiritually to grow in ways you won't experience from your couch at home.  We will compete, try new experiences, laugh, worship and just spend time with other guys.

In addition to worship, teaching, personal testimonies and small group discussion, men can participate in a variety of optional activities, including golf, ropes course, skeet and trap shooting, fishing tournament, boating, archery, sports and  more.

Nationally known speaker and founder of Elijah Ministries, Norm Wakefield, will be our guest speaker for this years event.  Believing that strong, effective churches consist of strong families and that such families are led by men whose hearts are turned toward their families, the vision of Elijah Ministries is based on Malachi 4:5-6 to build up the local church by equipping men to lead their families according to God’s power.

Early bird registration cost is $99 per person and is due by August 3rd.  After August 3rd, the cost will be $125 per person.  Some partial scholarships are available (see Russ).  The event includes 1 night lodging, meals, group transportation and activities.  A discounted one day registration (no overnight stay or group transportation) is available upon request for $49.

Donations to a scholarship fund to help pay for those men who would otherwise not be able to go on the retreat are being accepted.  Make checks out to the church and designate Men’s Retreat Scholarships.

We will depart from church early the morning of Saturday, August 23 and return after lunch on Sunday, August 25.  Group transportation is available.
